EMS teams up with Emergency Management for National Preparedness Month!

Laurens County EMS and Laurens County Emergency Management/E911 teamed up to help celebrate National Preparedness Month. Under the Starbucks sign at Ingles you could find people picking up weather radios, safety kits, emergency preparedness guides, and if you picked up a weather radio you received a free blood pressure check! September is National Preparedness Month and there is nothing better than spreading the word and assisting families in setting up the emergency plan in case of a loss in power, or other natural/man-made disasters. For more information on how to create an emergency plan or obtain your free weather radio, just reach out! We are always ready and excited to help in any way we can!
